David began his shopping center career in 1970 with The Rouse Company in Austin, Texas. He was with Homart Development Company in Chicago from 1972 through 1975. In 1975 he joined Buddy Herring at Paul Broadhead & Associates in Meridian, Mississippi and has been with Herring ever since.
His primary responsibilities are the design and construction of company developments including location, zoning and traffic analysis, market research, land entitlements, project feasibility, and land planning. His extensive experience includes consulting and developments both internationally and within the U.S.
David is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and a past president of the Dallas/Fort Worth Construction Round Table. He has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
